Modern Watercolor Sunflowers

September is upon us and the sunflowers are in full bloom outside and on our paper! Join illustrator and watercolorist Eileen Binkley as she guides you through painting some customizable, colorful, modern sunflowers with watercolors.
- No experience necessary, perfect for beginners as well anyone who wants to brush up on their painting foundations
- All supplies included, but feel free to bring your own from home if you’d like to learn to use them.

Nature Weaving
with Eileen Binkley
Join local artist Eileen Binkley in a unique workshop that explores some methods of creating nature weavings.
Students will be provided some sticks and basic supplies but are also welcome and invited to bring the following supplies to use or share:
- Interesting yarn, roving, strings, or strips of fabric
- Feathers
- Flexible reeds
- Dried flowers or plants
- All supplies included, but feel free to bring your own from home if you’d like to learn to use them.

Summer to Fall Acrylic Painting

Kokedama Moss Ball Making
with Laurie Carruthers
Discover the art of crafting your very own kokedama with local Redhead Green Thumb, Laurie Carruthers.
Kokedamas encompass a Japanese method that entails wrapping moss around a soil sphere, with an ornamental plant thriving on the surface. These captivating living creations can be hung or showcased in a container, adding a unique touch to your space.
Participants take home their kokedama along with a dish with rocks or a hanger for displaying.
