Join exhibiting artist Mary Payton in a unique workshop where you'll learn and discuss the balance of intention and playfullness present in her multimedia works.

• All supplies and smocks provided by the Brookings Arts Council

Join local artisan Steve Hunter, an experienced wood carver since 1998, who has mastered the art using just one carving knife. Designed for beginners aged 16 and above, this 6-hour course spread over three evenings introduces you to the timeless craft of wood carving. Whether you're new to carving or have tried it before but found it challenging, this class is perfect for you!

Registration in this three week course includes everything necessary for the class, and features a high quality beginner carving kit to take home—the same type of knife Steve uses in his work!

• Ages 16+
• Three 2-hour Tuesday evening classes
• All supplies provided

Join a local ceramicist to learn how to use a pottery wheel.

• Ages 9+, 12 and under should be accompanied by an adult.
• No prior ceramic experience required.
